Holiday decorating ideas with love and pink!
It’s that wonderful time of year again for bringing out our holiday decorations, and making new ones. There are so many options to choose from. I find it best to first think of a theme to work around. It can give the decorating a feeling of connectedness. Several themes to choose from are … love, joy, outdoor scenes, holiday characters … and of course all of these ideas can be used together if desired.
Decorating with pink for the holidays
Pink is a very popular holiday color this year. Including pink in wreaths, wrapping and tree ornaments, and even pillows, will express newness and fun. Silver or gold go well with pink, too.
For me, Better Homes & Gardens (and this article “34 Pink Christmas Decor Ideas for a Nontraditional Twist on the Holidays”) is a great and trusted source for practical ideas and some of the best pink colors to choose from for your personal look.
Holiday pops of color with “Viva Magenta”
Leave it to MoMA (the Museum of Modern Art) to bring Viva Magenta to life! It is a shade of pinkish-purple. Great for pops of color. There are abundant intense pinks with tasteful hinted tones being used this year.
