What could be more fun than 7 DIY holiday decorating ideas? I have to say, one of the most fun activities to do before the holidays is decorating.
It can lift your spirits (and others around you) and get you in a peaceful, joyous mindset for holiday events!
Selecting a theme for your decorating style is a great way to begin!
Whether you are decorating your table, porch, yard or tree, selecting a “theme” is a great way to begin.
Incorporating nature into your décor can add a calming, yet festive mood to the atmosphere of the room or area. Flowers, natural wreaths, candles, a fruit bowl, small gourds and colorful fall leaves are just a few ideas to surround your loved ones and guests with nature.

1. Coffee Filter Garland
Finding items around your house to use to decorate can inspire the imagination and, be very helpful and fun, too! You can use coffee filters to make this lovely floral garland. Tissue paper can also be used for making this happy puffy holiday craft.

2. String Light Lanterns
Bring on the holiday spirit with pretty lighting! You can place these lanterns in a fireplace, on a mantle or wherever you want. It just takes string lights which you place inside different sized lanterns and create a pretty glowing arrangement.
